Not much has been happening in the world of Steak or Meat. Beefcore's new album is coming just as soon as I ruin a track for him with some guitars and drums. Marv from Space in the 50s EP should be up soon too!!!! Also in the immediate pipeline is a podcast with DJ Sam, who I'm on Newport City Radio with on Thursday nights. More about that soon. You'll be able to download the podcast in the freestuff section once I get around to mp3ing it. COOL BEANS. Watch The Wire, it really is the best thing on TV. Nothing else compares, it's kind of ruined all TV for me now, apart from the Simpsons and the odd Family Guy.
THE WIRE. OVER AND OUT.

I'm on the radio!!!! Well, me and my mate DJ Sam are.
We were broadcasting on 87.9fm on Newport City Radio in South Wales for two weeks during a test for the above mentionned
radio station. Hopefully we'll continue on sunday nights 11:00pm - 1:00am steaming through http://www.newportcityradio.org
.
So tune in and cop out, the music is very varied, it's the alternative of the alternative with loads of old soul, rhythm
'n' blues, surf rock, garage rock, punk rock, kraut rock, prog, techno and loads more.......Plus surreal chat between tracks
and you can text message us, tell us what to play or tell us what you're thinking. It's Newport's answer to the late John
Peel's show on Radio 1.
If I can get the recorded versions of the two shows we have done so far I'll put 'em up on here in the free stuff section
as four one hour podcasts (mp3s I don't know how to do the RSS feed thing, if anyone does I'd appreciate a hand).
Thanks again!!
PS I also have a blog for random thoughts and rare musical treats at http://www.steakrecords.com/newsplort/ check it out
for free mp3s, reviews & whatever other crap I have to offer, leave me a comment or two. Cheers

Gareth David-Lloyd, called "Sex and Anarchy in Wales". Featuring music, free speech and art all in one package.
If you're interested in going you can link to the myspace site from Beefcore's. Which incidentally is www.myspace.com/beetech3000

About Steak Records
Currently this is the world wide web home of me, Lt. Meat. I make surf guitar laptop music for your aural pleasures. It's
a mixture of any genres I like, sometimes mixed together within one song. I'm just making music I like influenced by bands
and artists I like really, it can be a bit weird.
I have an instrumental EP you can download as a zip file and a new part instrumental album that you can purchase somewhere
on this little webspace should you want to. There's also my newest noisy venture that is also available for purchase. There
should be some mp3s in the free stuff section.
There are hopes that Steak Records will eventually feature other artists and talented peoples, as I seem to know alot
of people far more talented than myself. Maybe this could become the home for some of their music too. But not yet as I'm
too busy.....
Until then.
Good Health to you.
